1. Agreement

By accessing or using the ByeByeWatermark website, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service is operated by the person or entity identified in the site’s contact details. Before public launch, the operator should add its legal name, business address, governing law, and a monitored contact address to this page.

2. Who may use the service

You must be legally able to enter into these Terms. If you are using the service for a company or another person, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for them.

The service is not intended for children. Do not use it if applicable law prohibits you from doing so.

3. What the service does

ByeByeWatermark accepts supported images and short videos, attempts to identify visible watermark patterns, and may generate a cleaned file for review and download. Processing can fail, take longer than expected, or produce a result that still needs human review.

A result marked complete is not a promise that every mark was removed or that the result is suitable for publication. You are responsible for reviewing the before-and-after output before using it.

4. Your media and permissions

You must own the uploaded media or have every permission needed to edit it and use the result. Removing a watermark does not grant a license to the underlying image, video, logo, artwork, or stock content.

You keep your rights in your media. You give the operator only the limited permission needed to host, scan, process, store temporarily, secure, and return the file you requested.

5. Prohibited use

You may not use the service to:

  • edit, distribute, or monetize content without the required rights or permission;
  • infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
  • process unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, hateful, exploitative, or harmful content;
  • upload malware, attempt unauthorized access, probe the service, or interfere with its operation;
  • evade rate limits, automate abusive traffic, resell access, or use the service to build a competing bulk pipeline without permission; or
  • submit personal or confidential information when you do not have authority to process it.

6. Files, storage, and downloads

The current project is configured to keep uploaded files and generated results for a short period, intended to be two hours. The operator may change that setting when the service changes, but must keep the Privacy Policy and the actual deployment aligned.

Download links may expire or stop working after the storage window. Keep your own authorized copy if you need the result. The operator may remove content, pause processing, or limit requests when needed for security, legal compliance, or reliable operation.

7. Intellectual property and open-source software

The ByeByeWatermark name, logo, website design, code, and documentation belong to the operator or its licensors. These Terms do not give you ownership of them.

The project may include third-party open-source components with their own notices and license conditions. In particular, the configured processing stack must be reviewed before commercial deployment, and any non-commercial license must be replaced or separately licensed before the service is offered commercially.

“Google”, “Gemini”, and related names are trademarks of their respective owners. ByeByeWatermark is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.

8. No warranty

To the maximum extent allowed by law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis. The operator does not promise uninterrupted access, a particular processing time, complete watermark detection, perfect visual reconstruction, compatibility with every file, or that a result will meet your creative, commercial, or legal requirements.

You should keep the original file and inspect the result before sharing, publishing, selling, or relying on it.

9. Liability and indemnity

To the maximum extent allowed by law, the operator will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

You agree to defend and reimburse the operator for claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your failure to obtain rights and permissions for uploaded media.

10. Suspension and changes

The operator may suspend or end access when you breach these Terms, create a security or legal risk, or use the service abusively. The operator may also change or discontinue features, including processing engines and supported formats.

Material changes to these Terms should be published with a new updated date and any additional notice required by law. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction where the service operator is established, unless mandatory consumer or data-protection law provides otherwise. The operator must complete the legal name, address, and venue details before public launch.

Questions about these Terms can be sent to privacy@byebyewatermark.app.
